Stuck in a moment

I have been single for a long time.. And in truth, it has gotten me into a pretty comfortable rut where I don't have to report my doings to anybody, or feel like I am being held down. Where I don't have to have someone placed permanently at the back of my mind.. Or have all those extra emotionally draining issues to care about. Its been very comfortable really. The thought of committing myself.. to something serious just turns me off. Maybe one day, when I am head over heels crazily in love with that particular someone who walks into my life.. Maybe then there will be a day when my views and thoughts change.
But until the day that person walks into my life, I think I shall remain in my rut of singledom.

I'd really rather not get myself into a mess that I will regret later.
I'm sure there have been a few rumors about me around linking me to guys here and there but really, there has been nothing.. I have had a huge crush on a certain individual last semester but yeah, that has been about it.. Spent the whole semester crushing over that one guy, only to be disappointed in the end. Rejections hurt, and whenever I am in a position where I have to do it; It just kills me although I know I really shouldn't beat myself up over it. Gah.

And really, an attached Abby is pretty hard to get used to now don'tcha think?
I mean, then who would all the guys hit on?
Hahahahhaa! Kidding lah.
